摘要
本文报道采用20期鸡胚眼内注射的方式,证明7μg/ml的艾氏剂(aldrin)溶液可引起水晶体增生,而5%的香葵精油溶液则可抑制艾氏剂的致鸡胚晶体增生作用。作者认为,香葵精油的这种抑制效应可能与它的抗癌功能有某种相关性。
Aldrin at the concentration of 7μg/ml in redistilled water was inj-ected indto the right eyes of chicken embryos at 20th stage; The opposite uninjected eyes were used as a control.。 Lenses were measured 24 hours after injection. The statistical results showed that lenses from injected eyes with aldrin are significanly larger than the control ones (Tadle,P<O.05). other three kinds of injections were also carr-ied out in this study.They are:(1)Injection of the oil distilled from Pelargonium grave-iolens L’ Herit(OPG)at the concentratioii of 5% Tween 80; (2)Injection of mixture of aldr in and OPG;(3)Infection of OPG 12 honses after injection with aldrin.Len-ses from these injections were also measured and statistically compared 24 hours (for(l) and (2))or 12 hours(for(3)) after injection. There are no significant detectable differences in lens size between these injected eyes and the control eyes(Tadle,P> O.05).These data shown in the Tadle indicated that the OPG could inhibit aldrin-induced overgrowth of chicken embryonic leses. The OPG has been proved to have inhidbit ory effects on some cancer cell lines in vitro and some animal tumors in vivo, clinical Its preliminary tests have shown some effect in some human cancers (ref.1一3) Aldri has been reported to inhibit gap junctional communication(ref.7). And gap junctional communication has been postulated to be involved in growth control(ref.8一12). The- refere, the fact that OPG inhibits aldrin-induced overgrowth Suggests the anticancer function of OPG might be related to enhancing of gap junctional communication or regulation of growth control
