摘要
With different philosophical outlook Feng Youlan writes different books about the history of Chinese philosophy. In his early period, Feng Youlan stuck to the original meaning of ‘philosophy’ in the sense of Western philosophy, selected materials and made comments strictly according to such a kind of philosophy; while in his later period, he got rid of the original meaning of ‘philosophy’, selected materials and made comments according to his own definition of philosophy. From Feng Youlan’s work we can see that one’s philosophical outlook has great influence on his work about history of Chinese philosophy .and furthermore it involves not only the history of philosophy itself, but also the relationship between philosophy on the one hand and thought, theory, culture, etc., on the other.
