摘要
The Er-Li-Tou culture which was distributed along the middle reaches of Huang He(黄河)during the early 2nd millennium B.C.,falls within the formation period of the early Chinese state.This paper tries to clarify how people of different regions were related to each other during the period of the Er-Li-Tou culture.first,the author loods at the pottery of the Southwest Jin(晋)region and rearranges its chronology.He also analyzes the pottery of other regions by foucusing on their regional characteristics as well as the transition of their assemblage.Then,he divides the distribution of the Er-Li-Tou culture in four regions:Yi-Luo(伊洛),Southwest Jin in which a mixed characteristics of the other three regions were found.He analyzes the pottery of this site and determines the proportions of the potterywhich has the characteristics of the other three regions.As a result,the author finds thatduring the first half period lf the Er-Li-Tou culture,most pottery in Southwest Jin were made either in Soutwest Jin or in Central Jin.In the latter half period,however,there were more pottery from Yi-Luo than the ones made within Southwest Jin.In the Dong Xia Feng(东下冯)site,the number of moat and weapons had increased with the beginning ofbronzeware production.The author believes that it was because the early state was being formed around the Er-Li-Tou site in the Yi-Luo region,and then their power had spread to the surrounding regions.
