摘要
水井街酒坊遗址位于四川省成都市锦江区水井街南侧,在府河与南河的交汇点以东,原为全兴酒厂的曲酒生产车间。1998年8月,全兴酒厂在此处改建厂房时,发现地下埋有古代酿酒遗迹,随后由四川省博物馆进行了考古调查,以确定遗址的分布范围。1999年3~4月,在四川省文化厅、成都市文化局的直接领导下,成都市文物考古研究所与四川省文物考古研究所联合,在此开展了考古发掘工作,四川省博物馆的部分人员也参加了工作。
The site was first discovered in August 1998 when the Quanxing Winery was renovating its buil-dings. The excavation was conducted by archaeologists from the Institute of Archaeology of Chengdu Cityand the Institute of Archaeology of Sichuan Province from March to April 1999. The site covers an areaof 1700 sq. m., of which 280 sq. m. was opened up. The remains include the wine cellar, workingground, fireplace, distiller base, wall foundation as well as a large amount of potsherds. The site is di-vided into three phases corresponding respectively to the Ming, Qing and modern time. This brewerysite is the earliest, largest and most fully furnished one so far found in this country. Its discovery shedsmuch light or China's history of wine production.
