摘要
笔者受萧国政《状位"形容词+点"的入位条件和语义取值》一文的启发,对他提出的问题作了进一步的研究。本文第一部分讨论状位"形容词+点"的入位条件,把其简化为"A点"的非结果性。第二部分着重分析"A点"的语义取值和说话人语境心理的关系,发现"A点"附加语义取值是个复杂的语言心理问题:说话人语境心理为"获益"时,"A点"附加语义是"尽量"。说话人语境心理为"避损"时,若小损避之较易,"A点"附加语义是"稍微";若大损避之较难,则"A点"附加语义是"尽量"。
This paper discusses the syntactic and semantic properties of adj + dian as adverbial.It first presents a critical review of Xiao's (1998) treatment of the syntactic properties of adj + dian in three aspects:(1) stylistic property;(2) non-perfective property;and (3) readjusting property.It is followed by a detailed discussion of the semantic interpretation of the structure.It carries the implication of 'exert yourself' when the speaker believes that the action-V it modifies is beneficial.However,it has the overtone of 'somehow' when the speaker believes that the action -V it modifies is unfavourable.
