摘要
The meaning of the concept of intellectual is not very accurate despite its frequent use.Essentially,this concept means that people with knowledge come together to form a new cohesion.The connotation and extension of the concept is various in different historical times and periods.The author points out that President Jiang Zemin’s“three representatives” provides three important objective dimensions for us to inspect the social role of intellectual,which make us reflect on the intellectual status in society deeply.
