摘要 The microstructural evolution during plastic deformation is described as grain subdivision on a finer and finer scale with increasing strain. Key structural features are dislocation boundaries and high angle boundaries. These boundaries have characteristic parameters which are used in a comparison of deformation microstructures produced under different conditions.
