摘要
明代耳饰可别作两类，其一耳环，其一耳坠。明王圻等编“三才图会》任“内外命妇冠服”一项画出“环”的式样，可以代表明代耳环之一股。耳环用作簪戴的细弯钧，明人称作脚。明《礼部志稿》卷二十“皇太子纳妃仪”的纳征礼物中，有“金脚四珠环一双”、“梅花环一双”，其下并注“金脚五钱重”，即此。似乎还可以说，耳环比耳坠更为正式。“明史"卷六七《舆服三》所列品官命妇冠服，耳饰均为环；又故宫旧藏明代皇后画像，与凤冠霞帔相配的几乎都是耳环’，皆可为证。典型的明式耳环簪戴起来弯脚露出很长，耳坠则否。
