摘要
本文提出了一种基于图象表面重建技术的图象压缩方法。利用边缘信息和少量的低频成份重建出基本的灰度图象,最终的恢复结果只需根据图象细节和压缩比要求对基本图象补充一定的纹理细节。为了改善编码性能,本文还对边缘信息的提取算法和方向分解滤波器的设计进行了改进。系统模拟实验表明,在压缩比为45∶1时,采用本方法可获得较满意的恢复图象质量。
This paper presents an image compression method by utilizing the technigue of reconstructing image surface. From edge and a little low frequency information alone, a primary grey level image can be reconstructed. Final image can be restored by adding certain texture details to the primary grey level image, which will be dependent on the amount of detail in the image and compression ratio. In order to improve the coding performances, this paper also improves the algorthm of edge information extraction and the design of directional decomposition filter. The simulation results indicate that with this method, a satisfactory restored image can be obtained and the compression ratio is 45:1.
