摘要
恢复高考制度以来,国内高校外语教学有了长足的发展,伴随的是学生语言应用能力的大幅提高。但仍然存在着一些问题,突出的表现就是一些不利因素对目标语的影响。这就给教育决策者和外语教师提出了思考问题:如何设计更好的教学计划,采用什么样的方法来克服这些学习障碍。
The paper is an attempt to approach the basic failures of learning English in China varsity classrooms by listing some negative factors. They include age, motivation, environment, methodology, transfer & the like. The objective is expected to contribute the pygmy effort to the syllabus design that helps students to span methodological, cultural & cognitive gaps in the process of learning.
