摘要
概述规范控制和规范格式的定义、我国规范控制的发展过程和现状以及规范格式的选取原则。重点针对CALIS联机编目中心提出的规范格式一体化可能带来的问题进行深入分析,提出为更快更好地做好我国的规范工作,规范格式不宜一体化,而是中文文献规范记录宜采用CNMARC规范格式,西文文献规范记录宜采用MARC21/A格式。
Authority control is a process to establish, maintain and use authority records. In order to insure uniqueness and consistency of the heading in the bibliographical system; the establishment of authority records is the foundation for authority control; while the authority format is the format for authority record to exist. After introducing the development of authority control in China, the paper analyzes advantages and disadvantages of authority format integration, which is proposed by the CALIS (China Academic Library & Information System) Union Catalog Center. In this paper it is thought that authority format has not been integrated in a proper way, in other words, the authority record for books in Chinese would be better to adopt CNMARC Format/Authorities, while that for books in foreign languages, MARC21/A would be appreciated.
