摘要
江泽民同志提出的“三个代表”的重要思想，第一次明确揭示了中国共产党与先进文化的关系，建设先进文化在党的建设中的重要作用。在新时期和新形势下，要保持党的先进性，必须全面坚持“三个代表”，始终代表中国先进文化的前进方向。为此，党必须站在时代前列和世界科学文化的制高点，带领人民努力创造出反映时代前进要求和历史发展趋势的先进文化，为现代化建设事业提供理论武器、精神动力、思想保证和智力支持。
the theory of 'Three Representatives' put forward by Jiang Ze-min Clearly reveal for the first time the relation between the Communist Party of China and advanced culture. Advanced culture plays a great role in Party construction. In a new stage and under new sit situation, to keep its advanced nature, the Party should adhere to the theory of 'Three Representatives' and represent for all the time the orientation of advanced culture . Therefore, the Party must lead the Chinese people to create advanced culture reflection the requirement of the times and the development tendency, so as to provide the modernization career with theortical weapon, spiritual power, ideological gurontee and intellectual support
