摘要
“西学中源”说是“西学东渐”过程的产物。作为一种文化观 ,它对克服传播西学的阻力 ,捍卫中国本土文化的地位 ,客观上曾起了一定的积极作用。但它既模糊了西学的本来面貌 ,也模糊了中学的本来面貌 ,使人既不能正确认识西学 ,也不能正确认识中学 。
The theory of “Western learning is Chinese origin” came into being when the Western learning began to spread to the east. As a cultural viewpoint, it played an active role in overcoming the obstacles in the process of Western learning spreading to the east and protected objectively the status of Chinese native culture. However, this theory blurred the nature of the Western learning and Chinese learning, and made it impossible for people to have a correct understanding of them, so a negative effect was obvious.
