摘要
本文报道了一种新的硼酸盐化合物—Ba0 .87Sr3 .1 3 B1 4O2 5,采用泡生法已生长出尺寸为 35mm× 2 5mm× 5mm的晶体。该晶体为单斜晶系 ,C2 /m空间群 ,a =1 .6 4 2 5 ( 3)nm ,b =0 .77739( 1 6 )nm ,c =1 .6 6 6 5 ( 3)nm ,β =1 1 9.2 2 ( 3)°,Z =4。结构中B3 O8六元环通过O原子和BO3 三角形相互连接 ,构成三维的硼氧阴离子骨架 ,金属阳离子占据多面体间的空隙。测量了BSBO晶体的透过谱 ,该晶体的显微硬度为 5 78kg/mm2 。
A new borate compound - Ba0.87Sr3.13B14O25 was reported in the paper. The crystal with sizes of 35 mm × 25 mm × 5 mm was grown by the Kyropoulos method, and the structure was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group C2/m, with 4 formula units in a cell of dimensions a=1.6425(3) nm, b = 0.77739(16) nm, c = 1.6665(3) nm, β = 119.22(3)°. The borate network can be described as a three dimensional linkage of B3O8 six-member single rings connected by 0 atoms and BO3 triangles, and the barium and strontium atoms fit into channels of this network. The transmittance spectrum of the crystal was measured, and the microhardness is 578kg/mm.
