摘要
本文简要地介绍了分布反馈式(DFB)半导体激光器研究的历史和现状。分析了DFB半导体激光器与光子集成的关系,并指出了DFB半导体激光器最适合于用作光子集成器件的光源。在此基础上列举了一些典型的光子集成器件的例子。
In this paper, the history and status of the studies on distributed feedback (DFB) semiconductor lasers are introduced. The relation betwen DFB semiconductor lasers and photonic integrated devices is discussed. It is pointed out that DFB semiconductor lasers are the most promising source for photonic integrated devices. Furthermore, several examples of photonic integrated devices are also represented.
