摘要
毕业设计(论文)是高等院校毕业生毕业前所撰写的学位论文，其表明了学生在进行初级科学研究过程中取得的新成果和新见解，能集中反映学生在接受高等教育后所具有的科研能力与学术水平。上海理工大学对毕业设计(论文)工作一向十分重视，并始终在探索提高毕业设计(论文)质量与水平的方法，学校对于2003届的毕业设计(论文)工作，制订了更加具体的管理条例，促进了2003届毕业设计(论文)教学质量的提高。
A graduate design (thesis), written by a graduate for the bachelor's degree, manifests the student's achievements and his/her views on the theories after doing some primary scientific research. Consequently the graduate design (thesis) can reflect, to a large extent, a student's capability of scientific research and academic level after studying at college. The University of Shanghai for Science and Technology lays much emphasis on the work concerning the graduate design ( thesis), always exploring the ways to improve the quality of the design (paper). As for the 2003-year work of graduate design ( thesis), more specific management clauses have been stipulated and accordingly satisfactory results have been achieved.
