摘要目的:研究二甲双胍除降糖外的其他临床应用。方法:查阅文献进行综述结果:二甲双胍除降血糖外还有其他如在儿科中的应用、糖球病的预防、多囊卵巢综合征、HIV相关的代谢异常、减肥及改善非酒精性脂肪肝症状等临床用途结论:二甲双胍是一种耐受性良好、有效且有多种临床用途的降血糖药物。 Objective: To review the additional clinical uses of metformin besides its effect on glucose level. Methods: The related literature was consulted. Results: The additional clinical uses of metformin includes pediatric use, diabetes prevention, weight reduction and improvement of polycystic ovary syndrome, HIV-associated metabolic abnormalities and nonalcoholic steatohepatitis. Conclusion: Metformin is a well-tolerable, effective antihyperglycemic agent with many other clinical benefits.
