介绍了一个用于CIMS的计算机网络系纹的设计,主要包括通信协议的选择和协议的集成、各类节点机的上网方案、网络拓扑结构及线路系纹的设计、网络的监管方案等内容,该网络方案有一定的示范性.
Although Computer Integrated Manufacturing System (CIMS) has already been used successfully in developed countries, it still waits to be used in China. Therefore, China now makes considerable effort to develop CIMS application projects. The key technique of CIMS is integration[1] and the basis of integration is computer network. Network system plays a key role in a successful CIMS. This paper introduces the network system design of a CIMS project and concentrates on four aspects: (1) selection of communication protocol and mutual transform of protocols; (2) connection scheme of different node computers; (3) network topology and communication line system design; (4) design and configuration of network monitoring and management. This network system possesses the following main features: (1) Due to inclusion of HP mainframes and 3+ LAN in the network system, three communication protocos (TCP / IP, HP Advance Net, 3+) coexist. It is planned to have above three protocols gradually transferred to one standard protocol in the future. Heterogeneous mainframes (IBM, CDC, HP) and lots of different types of microcomputers and workstations are included in the network system. (2) The network system consists of lots of segments / subnetworks because of the breadth of application areas. Many kinds of network switch equipments (fibre optic concentrator, fibre optic transceiver, bridge, repeater, HPHUB, LLD, etc.) and communication media (fibre optic cables, thick and thin coaxial cables, special communication wires, etc.) are also included in the network system. (3) Powerful network monitoring and management tools are configured in order to increase the efficiency, security and reliability of communication. The monitoring and management of the whole network system is fulfilled by Ethernet Management Modul (EMM) on Chipcom's concentrator, HP Open View DTC Manager, SNS/ SNMPconnect cooperatively.
