摘要
利玛窦在南昌传教三年,经历了两次风波。前一次风波是西方天主教与中国道教冲突的反映,是中西两种不同文化在南昌的首次碰撞,对利玛窦后来在南昌的传教有过影响。后一次风波也是中西两种文化冲突的反映,但由于利玛窦得到了江西地方官员的支持,不仅使风波得以平息,而且还被获准在南昌城中定居买房并建立教堂,从而为天主教在南昌的传播开辟了基地。
During Matteo Ricci’s three-year missionary work in Nanchang, he went through two disturbances. The first disturbance was the reflection which was the conflict between the Western Catholicism and Taoism of China. It was the first collision between the different cultures of China and the West in Nanchang,which made a little impact on Matteo Ricci’s later missionary work in Nanchang. The second disturbance was also the reflection of the conflict between the different cultures of China and the West. However, because of the local officers’ support, not only the disturbance was put down, but also Matteo Ricci was given permission to settle down and set up the church by buying house in Nanchang. Thus the base was opened for the spread of Catholicism in Nanchang.
