摘要
目的 通过对报纸进行内容分析 ,了解其对健康信息的报道范围以及引用卫生研究结果的情况。方法 以《人民日报》、《北京晚报》、《文汇报》为研究对象 ,采用系统抽样的方法抽取 2 0 0 2年 4、 8、 12月为样本。由经过培训的 3名编码员对报纸进行编码。结果 在 2 75份报纸中共搜集到 85 3篇健康相关文章 ,每天健康文章总数占总文章数的平均比例 ,《北京晚报》、《人民日报》、《文汇报》分别为 0 0 39、 0 0 16、 0 0 2 6。健康文章的类型以新闻为主 ,主要位于新闻版、健康版、科技版 ,绝大多数由记者撰写 ,其主题以治疗保健为主 ,文章的目的主要是提供一般的健康信息。全部健康文章共利用了 71次卫生研究结果 ,引用率为 8 0 9%。结论 《人民日报》、《文汇报》、《北京晚报》的性质不同 ,在健康信息的报道上各有特色但普遍偏低 ,且报纸对卫生研究结果的利用不足。
Objective To analyze the coverage on health information and citation of health research findings in newspapers in China Methods All the issues of “People's Daily” (PD), “Wenhui Bao” (WHB), and “Beijing Evening News” (BEN) published in April, August, and December 2002, totally 275 issues, were collected The general features (number of pages, numbers of published articles in general and of health articles in each issue etc ), the length, author, target readers, and whether or not health research findings were cited of each health article, and the characteristics of cited health research were analyzed by using a specially designed investigation table Results 853 health articles were found in the 275 issues of newspapers, accounting for only 1 6%～3 9% of the whole number of articles, and 0 31%～0 52% of the whole space of articles Health articles were found in every issue of BEN, 67 2% of PD, and 71 1% of WHB PD mainly published health news and WHB and BEN mainly published health news and feature articles (χ 2=43 799,P<0 01) The length of health articles in PD was significantly less than those in BEN and WHB (both P<0 001) The theme of the health articles included treatment and medical care (54 9%), biomedical technology (13 7%), health service (11 4%), health policy and management (8 4%), public health (7 4%), and others (4 2%) 71 health research findings were cited with a citation rate of 8 09%, 32 of the 71 health researches were carried out within 1 year; the places where the researches were implemented were mentioned in 49 research projects (49/71, 69 0%) Conclusion Attention is not paid enough to health related articles in these 3 newspapers As a local catchall newspaper, BEN carries much more health related articles everyday in comparison with PD and WHB, national political organs Medical workers have to be mobilized to write more health articles Article about health research findings has to mention the resources so as to increase the auth oritat
