摘要
总结了主流关系数据库管理系统(RDBMS)Oracle,MicrosoftSQLServer和IBMDB2对最新发布的SQL标准SQL:2003中的第14部分SQL/XML的支持情况.首先从XML类型和值、SQL构造子与XML构造子之间的映射以及由SQL数据产生XML的函数3个方面简要介绍SQL/XML标准;然后给出并比较3大RDBMS产品对SQL/XML的支持;最后总结SQL/XML支持的现状和发展趋势.
Summarized were the support to SQL/XML, part 14 of the newly published SQL standard, SQL: 2003, provided by three mainstream relational database management systems (RDBMS), i.e. Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and IBM DB2. First, an introduction was given to the SQL/XML standard from three aspects, i.e. the XML type and values, the mappings between SQL substructure and XML substructure, and the generation of the functions of XML from SQL data. Then, a comparison was made between the SQL/XML standard support in the three RDBMS products. Finally, some conclusions on the current situation of the SQL/XML standard support and its development trend were presented briefly.
