调制SOA的偏置电流对谐波锁模光纤环行激光器输出脉冲的影响 被引量:3

摘要 本文提出了一个谐波锁模光纤环行激光器模型 ,该模型包含两个半导体光放大器 (SOA) ,其中一个SOA作为调制器(简称调制SOA) ,另一个提供增益 (简称增益SOA)。本文着重研究了调制SOA的偏置电流对锁模脉冲的影响。结果表明 :随着偏置电流的增大 ,脉冲形状将发生扭曲 ,甚至出现多峰结构 ;且输出脉冲的峰功率和方均根宽度都将增大。理论研究结果符合实验观测。 In this paper,a model of harmonic mode-locked fiber ring laser which consisted of two SOAs(one is named modulation SOA,the other is named gain SOA)has been proposed,and the influence of the bias current of modulation SOA on the output pulse has been investigated.The results show that with the increases of the bias current,the shape of output pulse is distorted accompanied by multi-peak structure,the peak power and the root-mean-square width of the output pulse increase,and the theoretical results and the experiment data reveals agreement.
