厦门经济特区的创建是党的十一届三中全会后 ,以邓小平为首的第二代中央领导集体核心的重大战略决策 ,是党的改革开放政策的产物 ;厦门经济特区坚持邓小平特区建设思想 ,使经济特区迅速发展壮大 ,对外开放格局逐步形成 ;厦门经济特区坚持以邓小平理论为指导 ,突出对台优势 ,走出一条由厦门地方特色的社会主义经济特区路子 ;厦门经济特区坚持邓小平的“两手抓论” ,两个文明建设协调发展 。
The opening of the Xiamen SEZ was a major strategic decision made by the second generation of the Party′s collective leadership led by Deng Xiaoping.The SEZ was a product of the policy of reform and opening up.The Xiamen SEZ has adhered to Deng Xiaoping Theory,which has stimulated its rapid development and expanded its opening up.In upholding Deng Xiaoping Theory the Xiamen SEZ has stressed the advantages of its closeness to Taiwan,and it has also held to Deng Xiaoping′s principle of developing both material and spiritual civilization.
