摘要
利用信息熵可以有效的将图像颜色直方图特征降低到一维,但以往的基于信息熵的图像检索算 法却没有考虑熵的对称特性,因此极易造成误检现象。基于此,文中提出了相应的改进算法,消除由 于熵的对称性对图像检索效果造成的影响。试验结果证明改进的方法在进行图像检索时具有更强的鲁 棒性,大大提高了图像检索效率。
The dimension of a color histogram can be reduced to a number by information entropy, however, different histograms with the same probability distribution have the same entropy because of the symmetry of entropy. In order to remove the influence of symmetry on image retrieval, three methods, histogram sorting, histogram area and the combination of histogram sorting and histogram area, are presented . To the histograms with different visual sensation, though, they have the same or similar probability distribution, the location of similar element in histograms is different definitely. That is the location difference of the elements in the histograms, are our methods based on. The experiment results show that our proposed methods give good performance in terms of efficiency and retrieval effectiveness.
