摘要
介绍了一种带FPGA的PCI接口的应用及设计方法。叙述了QuickPCI系列中的32位Target接口芯片QL5030的原理及结构,分析了目标写时序,提出了基于QLS030的高速绘图机上PCI接口卡的设计方案。本设计将PCI接口和PCI用户逻辑集成在一片芯片里,可以对整个逻辑进行仿真测试,缩短了开发周期,提高了系统的集成度和性能。
A method and its application of the design of PCI interface with FPGA is introduced. Firstly, a depiction of the theory and the structure of QL5030 of 32-bite target interface chip in Quick PCI family provided by Quicklogic company is presented. And then the target-writing timing is analyzed. Finally, a project of the design of the PCI interface chip based on QL5030 in high-speed graph plotter is provided. This design can integrate the PCI interface and its user logic in a single chip as well as perform the simulation test on a whole logic, which greatly shorten the development period and also improve the performance and integration degree of the system.
