从巴中县县情、林情出发,阐述了林业资源的现状、类型、特点和发展变化过程。林业的不断恢复和发展已显社会、经济、生态三个效益的统一。叙述了林业对改善环境的作用、使农民得到增收、促进农业增产的实例,提出了增加林业资源、发展林业生产的建议。
Bazhong County is located in Northeast Sichuan Basin (106°21′-107°07′E, 31°31′-32°04′N). The land area of whole county is 2,562km2,and population is 114×10~4. The land-form of this county belongs to low mountain- hill, being high in north and low in south. The altitude is 1,440-303m. This county is in subtropic humid monsoon area. Annual mean temperature is 17.1℃ and annual precipitation is 1,113m. These are suited to growing various forest trees.In 1991 ,the forestry land area of whole county is 955km2,in which forest land is 833km2, open forest land is 21km2,shrub land is 6km2,planting land of non-mature forests is 83km2, non-stocked land is 12km2. The forest coverage in this county is 37. 7%.The area proportion of forest category in the forest land (833km2) of this county is as follows, the timber forest 81. 4%,protection forest 3. 8%,firewood forest 5. 0%,non-timber product forest 9. 1% and the other forests 0. 7%. The growing stocky of whole county is 162×104m3.The tree species of timber forest and protection forest are mainly t Pinus massoniana,Cupressus funebris, Cunninghamia lanceolata and Sinocalamus offinis, etc.The non-timber product forest species are mainly: Morus alba, Aleurites fordii and Fraxinus chinensis,etc.In the county, forest distribution is unmean, forest land is dispersive. The natural forest ( 487km2) is more than forest plantation (266km2). The structure of forest age group is imbalance. Therefore,it is important to plant trees,to green the frait spot,to integratively control the forest fire,forest pest and plant disease,and deforestation,to strengthen forestry management.
