The low table leant on was a piece of important furniture in the age of seat, and from Yuan,Ming and Qing Dynasties to now,it always changed but did not never disappear from the life,and existed simultaneously often with the tall seat furniture. The low table with a casual shape was derived from the low table leant on,and it existed simultaneously with the low table leant on in the world.Though the low tables leant on and its derived tables with casual shapes in the poems and songs and paintings of Ming and Qing Dynasties might not be the real record of the real fife,but,the un- decline of the general mood of the enjoying admiration showed their lasting life force in the cultural art.
