摘要
MasterCAM作为一种通用软件，它在基本刀具库中提供的刀具几何参数、速度、主轴转速等，不完全符合企业现有的机床、刀具情况，存在一定的局限性。这里主要从具体实践的角度来阐述车削刀具库的开发方法以及需要注意的事项。
As a general software, geometry parameter of tools, velocity and revolution of principal axis offered by MasterCAM basic turning tooldatabase don't completely suit for those in modem enterprise. To make it closer to produce and elevate produce effciency it is necessary to manage well MasterCAM turning tooldatabase. We mainly exoatiate on how to develop and utilize turning tooldatabase in eyes of practice.
