摘要
当代景颇族基督教具有提升信仰层次、开展文化教育、倡导文明生活、进行道德教化、凝聚社会人心等方面的功能。但同时,也出现了教牧人员严重不足、发展层次提升慢、社会功能逐渐萎缩、受境外宗教势力的影响、干扰等问题,进一步地发展遇到了困难。作者在客观地分析了景颇族基督教的社会功能、存在的问题后指出,从神圣向世俗、从神学宗教向道德宗教转型,与所在社会的社会主义实践相适应,是当代景颇族基督教的根本出路或前进的方向。
Today' s Christianity of Jingbo people performs such functions as to lift their belief to a higher level, promote education and culture, advocate a civilized life, preach moral lessons, and ensure the cohesiveness of the society. Nevertheless, some problems remain as in severe shortage of clergy, slowness of belief uplift, withering of its social functions, impact and disturbances from outside religious forces, and hindrance thereof to its further development etc.. After making an objective analysis of its social functions and existing problems, the author points out that the fundamental ways out or directions for the progress of Jingpo people' s Christianity consist in transforming it from sacred to secular, from theological to moral.
