摘要
中国大陆MTV及MTV歌曲的兴起,是二十世纪中国流行歌曲第二次繁荣高潮的必然产物。MTV及其歌曲出现的文化原因,是市民阶层在改革开放以后,随着其经济地位的崛起,而导致市民阶层长期受到压抑的亚文化,向主流地位攀升的结果。因此,这一现象从一个角度现体了自改革开放以来,中国文化发生的本质性转型。 中国大陆MTV歌曲的成因,可以大致从以下一些范畴进行探讨:西方流行音乐录像片和MTV(频道)的产生所提供的既有蓝本;后现代主义思潮与艺术的影响;中国大陆的文化转型和意识形态的多元化;港台流行音乐的影响及其与大陆电视的结盟;中国大陆流行歌曲的民族化及其与电视的结盟;等等。 中国MTV及其歌曲的发展,鲜明地体现出中国传统文化与西方现代文化的杂交融合。如何合理地选择其杂交融合的“度”——即平衡点,在很大程度上影响着它的发展前景。因此,中国MTV及其歌曲的民族化这个问题,乃是关键之所在。
In China's Mainland,the rising of MTV and its songs is the inevitable result of the second boom of Chinese pop songs in the twentieth century. The cultural reason of the emergence of MTV and its songs is mainly based on the rise of social positions of the sub - class culture , that is the culture of civilian stratum, since the Open - and - Reform Policy was carried out. The rise of the economical position of civilian stratum finally results in the promotion of their cultural position in society. Therefore, this phenomenon, from one point of view, has reflected the essential changes of Chinese culture which have taken place during the Open -and - Reform period.
The causes of the formation of the mainland MTV songs could be discussed in the following categories: the rising and distribution of Western popular music as music vidio tapes and MTV (mainly in media) provides existing model versions for Chinese MTV. The influnces of the thoughts and arts of the post - modernism, and the cultural changes and ideological diversification in China's Mainland. The coming popular music influences from Hong Kong and Taiwan and its alignment with the mainland' s TV programme making. The national assimilation of the Chinese popular songs and its alignment with the mainland' s TV programme making, and so on.
The development of Chinese MTV and its songs distinctly reflects the cross and fusion between Chinese traditional culture and modern culture of the West. The prospect of Chinese MTV songs would mostly depend on how to choose the degree, that is to say, the equilibrium point, of these cross and fusion. Therefore, the nationalisation of Chinese MTV and its songs is the critical factor.
