摘要
近四十年来,虽然沙特妇女在教育、就业等很多领域取得了可喜的成果,甚至教育方面的增长率一度超过了男子,但性别隔离制并未因此而消失。沙特的性别隔离制之所以产生并得以持续至今,主要是由传统习俗与传统观念的束缚、社会文化的塑造、宗教、政府的强化、经济条件、父权制文化六个因素决定的。沙特妇女自身素质的提高为其走出性别隔离制的牢笼开启了一扇门。
Recent forty years, although women in Saudi achieved great success in the field of education,occupation, etc, even the rate of increase ever overtook man in education ,however gender apartheid system wasn't called off. The main causes were as follows: restraint of traditional mores and conventional concept,form of society enforcement of government,religion,economic conditions,the culture of patriarchy. Improvement on female education opened the door to do away with the cage of gender apartheid system.
