摘要
本文对实施网上实时在线英语讨论的两个试验班进行阶段性调查.试验结果表明:通过网上实时在线进行各类话题的英语讨论,可以广泛提高学生学习英语的兴趣,并有助于提高其英语水平.
This study investigates the potential role of synchronous on-line chatting as a means to supplement in-class instruction. It evaluates a program in which two experimental classes practice English by means of chatting two hours a week with the teacher on line. The survey reveals that the students love to have on-line discussion on various topics and that such a learning activity can stimulate their learning interest extensively and help them improve their English in the long run.
