摘要
对于简本《老子》的版本性质,学术界虽存在多种看法,但并没能达成比较一致的共识。其实,简本在篇幅、结构、章数、排次、书写形式和文字内容方面都表现出了一些明显不同于帛书本和传世各本的特征。只要对这些特征的可能性成因加以认真客观的分析,我们就不难得出肯定并且惟一的结论,那就是简本只是一个摘抄本,是墓主或者其先人为了某种实际需要,或者是基于某种理解,从当时流行的几种本子中选录出来的。
There have been various opinions in academic circles to the problem what the quality of the bamboo edition Laozi is. Though each saying has its own arguments, there is not a consensus on this issue. As a matter of fact, in length, structure, chapters, composition, writing, and contents, bamboo edition shows many differences with the silk edition and any other editions handed down. As long as we analyze seriously and objectively to the probable causes of these characters, we can easily get the affirmable and only conclusion that bamboo edition is just an excerpt which the master of the grave or his ancestor made from several prevalent editions at that times for some practical need.
