摘要
《春明外史》是张恨水早期的代表作。它以一个青年的两段不成功的爱情经历为线索 ,引出了当时北京广阔的生活画面 ,使得“言情”小说同时具备了“社会”的特征。在这部小说中还体现出了作者在二十世纪中国文学由传统向现代转化的特殊时期对旧文学流派的承袭和对新文学技巧的探索 ,在当时是具有一定的典型性的 。
The Anecdotes of Chun Ming is Zhang Henshui's representative work of his early career. Centering around a young man's two unsuccessful love episodes, the novel faithfully and vividly depicts the contemporary life in Beijing, which makes the novel remarkable for both its narrative and social characteristics. This novel embodies the author's inheritance of literary traditions in that particular historical period when Chinese literature was transiting from traditionalism to modernism. In addition, it is a clear demonstration of the author's exploration of new literary skills typical at that time, which has a great impact upon popular novel creation after him.
