摘要
提出一种数字化天气雷达回波图象的无失真压缩方法。它利用“改进的局部平均法”对雷达回波进行滤波;然后对图象进行一阶差分变换,并用链码对图象中非零元素进行描述;最后按编码的概率分布对其进行优化,使用这种方法,压缩后资料的数据量仅为原始图象的5%左右。
A new distortionless method for compressing digital weather radar echo images is proposed. The digital images are first filtered by the improved partial difference method and then transformed by the first—order difference with the non—zero elements in the images encoded by means of chain codes. Finally, the codes are optimized aceordingto their probability distribution. By use of this method,the compressed data are only about 5 percent of the original in quantity.
