摘要
俸禄制度是古代职官制度中最重要、最基本的制度之一,俸禄水平的高低影响着官员的廉洁状况。明代官员的俸禄是典型的薄俸制,历来有"最薄"之说。明代的薄俸制,严重影响了明代的政治生活,造成廉吏难支、贪风不息等恶果,加速了明朝的灭亡。
The salary system used to be the most important and most fundamental systems of the ancient official institutions, and the standard of the salary used to affect the honesty of officials in performing their duties. As the salary of the officials in the Ming Dynasty had once been known to be 'the lowest', the low salary system had severely affected its political life with such vicious consequences that the lowly-paid officials found it hard to sustain their lives, thus embezzlement corrupted their government and finally lead to the downfall of the Ming Dynasty.
