A review with 63 references on the signification of chemically modified electrode(CME) and its application to selective preconcentration and separation is presented.The summarization is mainly focused on the preconcentration of 4 types,i.e. coordinated,ion-exchanged,weak interaction and other interaction since 1995 and the prospect is given.
