摘要
中国神话没有西方神话发达，主要是因为再生神话的不发达。从文化的角度看，中国再生神话的不发达，其原因有三：一是中国古代文化强烈的现世精神；一是大型口头叙事文学作品特别是史诗的缺乏；一是原始宗教的不发达。另一方面，中国的仙话却比西方发达得多。其原因主要在于中国仙话创作环境的自由宽松，以及中国人普遍幻想、甚至相信、追求长生不老的仙话创作氛围。
The main causes that chinese myth is less developed than Western myth are that the reborn myth is less devolped . In cultural , there are three causes for the less developed of Chinese reborn myth . First , it is the intense realistic spirit in ancient culcure of China . Second , it is the lack of epic . Third , it is the less devolped of original religion . Meanwhil e , the chinese artificial-myth is more devolped than Western artificial-myth . The main causes are the free environment in which the artificial-myth was created , and the creative atmos phere of immortal that the chinese people fancy , believe and seek .
