摘要
区域系统调查法强调的是对特定区域内不同时期、不同文化阶段之间聚落形态的变化过程进行动态的观察和研究,它对于聚落考古和文明起源过程的研究有着无法替代的作用。本文介绍区域系统调查方法的发展简况和基本方法,并通过在我国不同地区运用的几个实例,说明在我国开展此类考古调查的可行性和必要性。
Unlike traditional survey with the only purpose of discovering sites, the metnoa 01 systematic regional survey emphasizes the dynamic observation and study of. the changing course of the settlement pattern between different periods and cultural phases in a given region. Archaeological practice in the last over a half century has proved that systematic regional survey plays an irreplaceable role in settlement archaeology and then in the study of the originating course of civilization. This method, therefore, has gradually drawn attention from archaeologists in the world. The present paper makes a brief introduction about the development of the method and an exposition of its basic principles. Citing a few examples of using this method in different regions of China, the author elucidates the feasibility and necessary of this method in China.
