摘要
公私之辨、义利之辨一直是思想史上的一个重要论题。在经济全球化、政治多极化和价值多元化的当代社会,人们的公共活动领域发生了新的变化,已成为当今社会中增长最快的一个领域,公共性已成为全球化时代的属性和要求,公共性问题已成为全社会关注的焦点。因此,就公共性问题的产生、基本标志、凸显与困境进行说明,对公共性理念进行历史检视和当代重建有着重要的理论意义和现实意义。
The authors hold that the debate between public interest and private interest, between justice and personal gains, a sustaining topic in the history of human thought, is of particular importance in the contemporary context where economic globalization, political and value pluralism, and the changes in public domains are playing dominant roles in the human life. An elaborate scrutiny of the origin, basic landmarks, and predicaments of this issue, therefore, is of vital significance in the historic re-examination and contemporary re-institution of the conception of publicity.
