摘要
运用社会语言学的基本理论,从思维方式、价值体系、审美意识、风俗习惯和跨文化意识五个方面对跨文化交际的障碍进行了剖析,并论述了西方文化特征和中西方文化的主要差异,强调跨文化交际者只有对跨文化交际中的社会文化因素给予足够的重视,提高跨文化意识,方能实现成功的跨文化交际。
This paper makes a close study of the barriers in cross-cultural communications from five aspects—thinking mode, value system, beauty consciousness, custom, and cross-cultural awareness, by using the basic theory of social linguistics. The cultural characteristics of the West and the cultural differences between the East and the West are also stated here. Besides, the paper stresses that only by attaching importance to the social and cultural factors and raising cross-cultural awareness can we succeed in cross-cultural communications.
