2000年中国农大开始筹备网络教育学院,校长找到了谢咏才说,只有你做最适合。有人向她提出疑问:做这件事,要调动各种资源,手里得有权力,你有吗?谢咏才说:"我不用这种权力,我要用一种机制"。
The constant vice dean of Online College of CAU Xie Yongcai has worked in CAU for more than 30 years and once on the position of section chief of educational administration, director of electricity teaching center, dean of media broadcast department, vice dean of information college. Xie has never gave up the teaching research although she worked in administration position for long time. She once presided and took part in the tasks of state and ministry level and published nearly hundred of essays and several books and electric publications. At the beginning of 2000 Xie started to arrange the setting up of online college of CAU. She said that she was gratified greatly for the realization of the practice of reformation thought for tertiary education considering for several years. With the age of 57 Xie believes that online college is a completely new kind of university which need exploration and creation and should be taken with great enthusiasm in heart. (See Page 15)
