The paper summarized the main kinds of production methods for PTT. The latest technical advance of 1,3-propanediol for PTT raw materials production technique were introduced emphatically. Pointed out that PTT has good workability,mechanical properties, thermoplasticity extensibility, high elasticity size stability and dye-ability, and would take good applica-tion prospect.
