摘要
OpenGIS规范的目的是解决地理数据共享和地学处理互操作问题,并提供有关地理数据和地理信息的服务。而SIG集成网络上的计算机、数据、设备和服务等空间信息资源,联合向全社会按需提供全方位的信息服务。作为得到广泛支持的空间数据互操作规范,OpenGIS规范成为SIG的一大支撑技术。该文阐述OpenGIS规范的目标、现状及其发展趋势与SIG的基本概念,并对二者间的联系与区别进行了论述。
The goal of OpenGIS specification is to solve the geodata sharing and interoperable geoprocessing, and to provide the service of the geodata sharing and geographical information. SIG integrates all the online resource, including geodata, computer and equipment and service, to serve for the needs of the society. The OpenGIS specification, as popularly supported interoperability specification of geodata, is one of the supporting technologies for SIG. This paper presents the goal, status of OpenGIS specification, the concept of SIG, and the relation and differences between them.
