摘要
提出了一种基于小波域运动估计的序列图像压缩编码算法,针对图像经小波分解后生成的子带图像所特有的多分辨率特性,引入了多分辨率运动估计方法,在一定程度上解决了传统的基于空域运动估计而采用全搜索法时存在的搜索范围大、搜索运算量大等问题。此外,本算法采用基于提升格式的第二代整数小波变换进行图像分解,具有运算简单、节约内存、便于硬件实现等优点。
In this paper, a video compression coding method based motion estimation in wavelet domain is proposed. Due to the multi-resolution analysis characteristic of the sub-images transformed by wavelet, we introduce the multi-resolution motion estimation algorithm, which solves the problems existed in the traditional motion estimation based in the spatial domain such as the great area of the search, the great computation of the search. And, this method adopts the second integer wavelet based lifting scheme to transform the images, which owns the simple computation, the saving in memory and being convenient for the realization in hardware.
