摘要
神话时间是对生命的主观形式和自然客观直觉相互关系的一种内在感悟,表现为传统观念上的"过去"、"现在"和"未来"处在同一层面上,具有"同时的"或"共时的"意义。福克纳在作品中精心利用了神话中的时间意识,借助于历史神话把南方现代人的精神困境、南方社会的种种矛盾和自己复杂的内心冲突谐和起来,通过运用神话时间实现了南方历史的神话化,反映出他对南方传统、社会现实,乃至人类的"未来"的真实看法,为迷惘中的南方人指出了"未来"的出路。
The time in mythology is an inner feeling of mutual relation between the subjective form of life and natural objective intuition, which performs at the same level of the past, present and future in traditional sense and is bestowed with the meaning of simultaneousness and synchronic. By carefully adopting the time in mythology and the combination of the spiritual dilemma of modern Southerners,various contradictions in Southern society and complicated inner conflicts of his own, Faulkner succeeded in divinizing Southern history and demonstrating his attitudes towards Southern tradition, social conditions, even the future of human beings, which indicates the way out for the wandering Southerners in the future.
