摘要
指纹数据库的规模不断增大,对检索算法提出了较高要求,这就需要建立一种多级指纹数据库。本文提出使用指纹纹形、脊线数目和指纹码来建立指纹数据库的多级索引和在此基础上检索指纹数据库的方法,通过实验数据对两级和多级索引做出比较,并做了算法的性能分析,提高了大型指纹数据库中的匹配速度和效率。
More and more augmented fingerprint database demands better exhibition to search algorithm. This needs to build a multilevel fingerprint database. This paper proposes an index and search method of multilevel fingerprint database that is built by fingerprint pattern, ridge count and FingerCode. It also compares two level indexes with multilevel indexes by experimental data and makes an analysis of algorithm performance. This method can enhance the rate and efficiency of matching.
