摘要
昆体良是罗马帝国初期著名的教育家、演说家。他集古希腊、罗马教育经验之大成,在着重阐述演说辩论家的培养问题时,对教师素质提出了许多有价值的见解。这些见解不但为文艺复兴以来西方教学理论的发展奠定了基础,而且时至今日仍闪烁着璀璨的光芒,给当代教师带来有益的启示和鞭策的力量。
Quintilianus was a famous educator and orator in the early Roman Empire.Having combined the educational experiences from Greece and Rome,he put forward many individual ideas about teachers' quality on the cultivation of orators.His ideas not only laid solid foundations in the development of western educational theory after the Renaissance but also were of great significance in useful revelation and inspiration even till today.
