摘要
基于连续模型对连铸方坯的中心偏析进行了数值模拟,分析了枝晶间液相流动对铸坯中心偏析的影响。采用SIMPLER算法开发程序,耦合求解模型中动量、能量和溶质守恒方程。对方坯的三维模拟结果表明,液相密度差异引起的自然对流使枝晶间富含溶质的液相不断向铸坯中心聚集。中心区域平均溶质浓度在液相穴深处迅速升高,并在凝固末端达到最大值。严重的正偏析集中在中心线周围。改善中心偏析关键在于控制液相穴末端的枝晶间液相的流动状况。
The formation of centreline segregation in continuously cast billet has been simulated based on the continuum model and the effect of the interdendritic liquid flow on the centreline segregation is analyzed. The corresponding simulation software has been developed by applying the SIMPLER algorithm and the momentum, energy and species conservation equations are solved simultaneously. The calculated results of a 3-D billet indicate that the interdendritic solute-rich liquid accumulates toward the centre of the strand due to the natural convection caused by the density difference in liquid. The average species concentration in the centre increases obviously in the deep of the liquid pool and reaches the maximum at the end stage of solidification. The serious positive segregation centralizes around the centreline of the billet. The control of the interdendritic flow at the end of the liquid pool is important to prevent the centreline segregation.
