摘要
20世纪初,中国赴日留学生以其饱满的爱国热情,对中国社会的方方面面进行了大量、细致的调查研究,他们用自己创办的刊物登载了许多调查报告及翻译文章,使读者认识到清政府的腐败无能和人民的水深火热,进而试图找到一条民族振兴的出路,留日学生的社会调查实践,宣传了进步思想,开创了严谨务实的学界风气。
In early 20th century, the Chinese visiting students in Japan had conducted a large quantity of detailed survey and research on many aspects of the Chinese society with their strong patriotic enthusiasm. They made use of their own magazines to publish many survey reports and translating papers that had helped the readers know well the corruption and incompetence of Qing government and the difficult life of the Chinese people. They purported to search for a path for rejuvenating China with these efforts. The practice of social survey by the Chinese visiting students in Japan helped disseminate progressive ideas and initiate an academic mode of exactitude and factuality.
